Looking for a Senior System Administrator for a direct hire position in Burbank, CA.

This position is responsible for technical research and development to approve continuing innovation within the infrastructure, and train others to maintain operations' best practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • 5 Years Linux Experience (Red Hat/CentOS Preferred)
  • 5 years of Networking Experience (LAN, WAN, Cisco, Routers, VPN, F5, Load balancers, clustering)
  • RHCSA or RHCE certification
  • CCNA level of Network Understanding
  • Efficiency with F5 load-balancers (version 12+) a huge plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Storage systems (NetApp, EMC, ZFS, etc )
  • Practiced Scripting Skills (Bash/ksh/Ruby/Python)
  • Configuration of Core Services (Apache/DNS/NFS)
  • Professional experience with Virtualization environments (VMWare 5.5 and RHEV)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and support a LAPP stack environment (Postgres vs. MySQL)
  • Direct the work and coordinate with developers on numerous projects and application life cycles
  • Implement operation procedures, document them, and train others on it
  • Develop maintenance windows for server upgrades, pushes, and downtime
  • Establish PCI compliance and any other audit compliance
  • Support project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of Project Management
