Platform Specialist (Contract/Permanent)
Location: Harrow Country: UK Rate: £58k - £68k per annum + Benefits
I am working with a company in the public sector to find a Platform Specialist to join their dynamic IT team. Your responsibilities will include system design, technical documentation, task automation, and leading medium to large-scale IT projects.
Your day to day will be varied but you will be:
- Providing subject matter expertise in Office 365, emphasizing migration and support.
- Supporting Legacy Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments in a hybrid enterprise setup.
- Leading the technical implementation of SharePoint & Power Platform solutions.
- Automating routine tasks using PowerShell and Azure-based DevOps tools.
- Delivering administrative support to service users across Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Applications.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- In-depth expertise in Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Tools deployment.
- Proficiency in advanced Scripting (especially PowerShell) and automation.
- Management and administration of enterprise-level Azure tenancy.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with methodologies like Prince 2.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with IT industry standards such as ITIL, ISO, and Prince 2.
My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £68,000 for this position, alongside an excellent benefits package. And, while initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, there is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a base in my client's London office.
